The Remixed version of the Xenogears score is a fantastic work that showcases Mr. Mitsuda's talent. Once again Mr. Mitsuda teams up with Studio Guido's HALTA & KALTA and Millennial Fair to rework the already complex original arrangements. Each track is craftily engineered and performed with wild passion contrasted by tender strumming and soulful melodies.

Highlights include "Melkaba" which wonderfully combines brooding percussion, mournful pipes and other worldly vocals. "Dajil" skillfully combines pop music and middle Eastern folk music. "Balto" starts with peaceful guitar and earnest flute evolving into an uproarious taven-like song.

Yasunori Mitsuda has repeatedly demonstrated by his work (brilliantly mixing folk music from around the world) that he is one of the great composer's of our time. This CD will appeal to all lovers of music.
